Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Drew Update

So we all must remember that this is a family journal as well as a public blog...

So praying you are all patient with what may look like proud parent boasting...

~~Pictures of Danielle and Ryan with public figure

~~Drew's college interview

~~Danielle's interview with the Reagan photographer

~~ And Drew's race at Cross Country Junior Nationals

Drew was hoping for a spot on the national team, but unfortunately that was not what the day held for him.

His race day was a little off.
He placed 36th of the 150 or so there.
Drew with his ever present drive, headed back home into the fray to continue to work on this wonderful gift that God has given him.

So here is the article from The Daily Evergreen.

We love you son, and look forward to what the Lord has in store for your future!

No apologies necessary.

I, too, try to write about my Big Kids.

I actually am sad that some bloggers ONLY write about their cute little adopted kids, and seem to forget the "other half" of the family (the older bio. kids). Seriously, there are several blogs that NEVER even mention their Big Kids except in the profile where it says, "We have ____ kids."

Keep Journaling! I LOVE to read about your family.

Oh ... on the day that you posted the pic of Danielle with Sarah Palin ... Ben and Hosanna kept telling me, "Have you read the Jordan's blog yet? You need to read the Jordan's blog." So, our whole family enjoys keeping up with your sweet family.

Hope your week is BLESSED!

Laurel
