Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Play Date

We just got back from a play date with some other adoptive families. It was a nice time of refreshment and encouragement for me. And lots of running off energy time for the kids. I am sure the other moms there were wondering about the small United Nations Meeting going on!! It is good to see all the kids from Ethiopia, Kenya, China, Vietnam, Korea, Liberia, and of course a few home grown, enjoying one another. Knowing some of their lives would be horrible if not for the option of adoption. The blessings they have been to their families is truly amazing.

This morning Caleb and I found some pictures of his orphanage in Liberia, it got us thinking of all those to whom an orphanage is still home and praying they may find a place to call home this year!
