Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Super Bowl Crowd!!

Our hope as we raised or children is that they would enjoy hanging out at the house with their friends. This way we could get to know their friends and see all the interactions. So what comes with this is large crowds and the need for ear plugs at times, but it is great fun!!! This is only part of the crowd we saw at the house yesterday for the Super Bowl. There is a crowd playing ping-pong in the garage and the Foosball table is set up in the living room.
Here you see a calm game of "ultimate spoons" being played on the deck out back. Why outside when it was only about 50 degrees you ask? Well in "ultimate" spoons when you get 4 of a kind you have to run to some far off location to find your spoon!
So it ends up looking like this when nine teens and twenties go racing across the deck for a spoon! They usually do this at the dining room table with the spoons upstairs on my bed with smaller groups! How do you say accident waiting to happen. So far no injuries and they are having great fun.
The world likes to classify Christianity as dull and boring. So what do you think? Do these kids look bored to you?
Hope you had a blessed weekend. And as my husband posted on our front door "Whom will you serve today?"
