Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Elmo in Iraq?!?

Erinn and I found this cute little Elmo chicken at a garage sale this summer and just knew he needed a change of scenery. So off Elmo went to brighten up the days of some lonely soldiers in Iraq! Erinn's friend, Mike, and his bunk mates have been having a little fun with him! Oh, by the way the sings and does the "Chicken Dance". Here Elmo is practicing his patrolling and checking out this MRAP!
This is just a quick reminder for you all that there are lots of soldiers all around the world, who will be spending their holidays away from family this year. Maybe you can be the one to brighten someones day. If you need ideas, just ask me and I will help you out best I can.
