Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Caleb's baseball team. Interestingly we have dealt with some racism from some persons on the team, whose own race has dealt with racism for generations. I have always choose to stay a watch lots of practices to make sure I am comfortable before I will leave any child at a practice alone, I will not do that with this team.

Caleb is enjoying his experience, though I do believe he is feeling that he is being treated differently. We talk.

Thankfully Caleb has had the opportunity to attend a baseball camp for the last two days. A large part of the coaches of this camp, from Southern California, are of many different races. It is nice to see him able to interact with all of them and be treated with kindness and respect by all.
No, the world is not colorblind. But we will choose to walk with love and integrity with all those God puts in our path. And maybe, they may see the love of Christ in our actions.
