Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

More Beach Time

I felt the need, now that I am a little caught up to post some beach pictures from our trip earlier in July.

I think this is the first sunset over the ocean I have seen since our honeymoon almost 25 years ago!!

We rented a home that would house all 13 of us (some of David's family) and it had this beautiful beach just a few steps down the road that was for all sense and purposes private to the homes in the area.

Hannah and I had fun running from the waves.

And running into the waves!

We found this rock at low tide had some very small tide pools.

But you had to be careful when the waves came in!

Hannah was very adventurous! I was a little worried because it is always so cold and windy on the Oregon coast that she would get too cold. Once that starts happening it takes her a very long time to warm up, as she has NO body fat. But she did great!!

My wonderfully handsome husband looking for more finds to show the kids.

My contemplative Hannah! She is always watching. Like she is taking the whole world in. I would love to know what she thinks. She does not have the ability to really voice her thoughts or emotions very well yet. More on that in another post.

Caleb with his cousin, Luke, searching out the best driftwood for a fort!! As you can see they had plenty to choose from. It was fun to watch Caleb with his cousins for a few weeks. He loves to help little kids. He loves to be the director! He does not like to be left out. He can change games or play mode in seconds and be happy about it. And he can go and go and go!

Luke, Jonathan, Rebekah, Caleb, Hannah, and Abbie in the fort they built.
