Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Today is..

...a good day to remember and be thankful we live a nation that pursues freedom and honors heroes!

Pray today for the families of the many who lost their lives on this day.

Pray for our nation to make wise decisions regarding our freedom and the fight for it.

Pray for those who daily put their lives on the line to keep us safe and free; those in the mili*tary, the police, the firemen and so on.

I ask specific prayer for Michael and Erinn on this day, as it can be a day of targeting the mili*tary.

Also, my brother-in-law, David, is presently working in Af*ganistan non-mili*tary with computers, but also in dangerous situations. And my sister Sandi, as she stays home caring for two energetic little boys by herself for a year.

I know there are so many more, but these are the two that are daily on our hearts.

If you have a loved one you would like to add to the prayer list, leave a comment, and we will happily be praying for more!!

God bless on this Patriot's Day!
