Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

25 Amazing Years!!

David and I are blessed to be celebrating our 25th anniversary today on this historic 10-10-10!!

Thought I would take a trip down memory lane of our 25 years + 1 year of dating.
This was our first date, homecoming 1984. I had just celebrated my 16th birthday and David was a whole 17 years old. We were late because of a cross country race we had earlier in the day.
Just one of my favorite pictures of us dating.

Prom 1985. David was somewhat gimpy due to twisting his ankle at track practice that day. He would be racing for a state title in track in few weeks, so we did not do much dancing on that sore ankle.

Our engagement picture--September 1985.

Wedding photo October 10, 1985. David was playing football with the neighbor kids when I got there! Funny thing is...he can still wear the same size as that night!!

Our little family of 3. Danielle was one year old and just starting to get some hair.

Our last family picture of three. Danielle is 2 1/2 and I was pregnant with Erinn.

Just the 4 of us. But only for a while, I was very pregnant with Drew here.

Our young family of five in 1994. Danielle is 8, Erinn is 5 and Drew is a great big 2. This is our last family picture while still living in Salem.

Our first family gathering in Baker City. Danielle is 9, Erinn is 6 and Drew is 3. Notice, David lost all his hair with this move. He got his flat top a few weeks after we moved and has had it ever since.

This picture is from November 1998. Danielle is 12 and turning into a young lady, Erinn is 9-that awkward stage, and Drew is 6 with his cute little bowl cut! And for all you dog lovers, this is Sarah, our first sweet Golden, who died shortly after our move to Medford.

This is our first family picture after our move to Medford in 2002.
Erinn's least favorite family photo because she had just slipped off a rock and gotten her bum wet. This was a hard photo for all of us, because the transition to Medford was so difficult. David had just been diagnosed with his arthritis about this time.

A year later---Drew(11) lost his hair, Erinn (14) found her smile, and Danielle (17) found a softer look for her hair.

Our last picture as a family of 5. This picture was taken fall of 2005 while waiting for our two new additions.

Finally our family of 7 all together in 2005! Danielle--19, Erinn--16, Drew--almost 14, Caleb--5, Hannah--almost 3. The littles were home 1 month from Liberia and Danielle had met them the night before.

December 2007---Danielle is a college senior, Erinn a college freshman, Drew high school sophomore, Caleb 2nd grade, Hannah preschool. Danielle and Ryan had just started getting serious and he was taking the pictures for us. He did not inform us, that in EVERY picture Caleb was pouting or scowling---guess he thought it was fun?

2008, trying to capture to moments before they are all grown-up----guess they are!

2009 Our last professional photo as a family of 7! We would soon be growing again.

Wow--We sure did grow!! For the first time in our family history--the guys out number us girls!
Adding Ryan and Michael is like gaining two new sons, not in anyway like loosing two daughters!
Christmas 2009
Erinn and Michael's wedding July 2010

Danielle and Ryan's wedding June 2010

So there is our family history in photos. I have loved this journey down memory lane, hope you have too:)

May God's face continue to smile upon our marriage, and may His name be praised and we continue to:
DELIGHT IN HIM!!!!!!

Oh, that was so fun! Neat to see the progression from you two being kids yourselves to the beautiful family w/ some of the "kids" already grown up! Happy Anniversary! Are you going on a cruise to celebrate 25 years??? :)
