Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Quick Trip

Saturday morning my wonderful husband woke me up with the prospect of a quick trip to
Mt. Shasta.

Drew had a college friend on his way up from Carson City to catch a ride back to Pullman. David thought we would save his mom about 4 hours of driving if we headed down and met them.

Then he teased me with the idea of a quick visit with Jen and Jeff, a fellow adoptive family with three from Liberia amongst their family.

So a chance to spend the day with my husband trapped in a car and our new book Radical to read.

A visit quick visit with a 'like-minded' family!

You bet let's get going!

Oh and by the way honey, there will be packed snow on most of the trip!

Obviously we had a great time anyways!
