Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Vote is in!!

Yep, he is absolutely crazy!!

Good thing we love him so much around here!!

But I have noticed that the older I get, the harder time I am having keeping up with him!! Wonder why!!

Not only was this weekend physically challenging for David, but it stretched him in other ways.

David's gifting does not lie in the area of service---now don't take that the wrong way, he is just way more strongly gifted in other areas.

This weekend he choose not to 'race' during the bike ride, but to be of service with his excellent hand pump to the many who suffered popped tires due to the tacks.

And his run with Neil, he was 100% in the position of helper and encourager. Neil was pretty beat down physically and emotionally after 80 miles and David was able to encourage by his presence, by his words, and by his physical help with carrying packs and water and such.

Way to go at stretching yourself David---you are a great example to many around you!!

I'd say David is just all around one amazing man! (I can say that ... because I have a totally amazing man as a husband, as well.) We are both certainly BLESSED by the husbands that the Lord chose for us.

Laurel :)

PS: The kids told me today that we need to move to Medford so that we can live by you guys. :) Just find Jim a job ... and we're there. Then our guys can be crazy together. Oh my!
