Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Excitement!

First of all, yes, that is a daffodil and it is blooming in my front yard!! Earliest spring I can ever remember. So while half the nation is buried under its largest snow in years we are wearing short sleeves and enjoying spring flowers!!!

We are also enjoying the tremendous excitement of our youngest in waiting for her birthday!!! This is really the first year she gets it all. We are only having one family over this evening for dinner, as large crowds of kids are not her thing. She keeps checking the door to see if they are here yet! And she is thanking me over and over for doing her hair for her birthday party! This is so much fun watching her! Tomorrow is her actual birthday and my parents will be in town to celebrate with her.

This last picture is our crazy dog watching TV!! Yep, put on dogs, or in this case wolves, and she becomes an avid TV fan as long as they are making noise. The kids thought watching her was better than watching the Olympics!!
