Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
Super Bowl Ad to Watch!!
So have you heard all the fuss about the Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad?
You can find a wonderful article from the Washington Post here This article is well written by a pro-choice woman.
So Tim Tebow's family did a pro-life ad sponsored by Focus on the Family. It has been approved by CBS and will air during the Super Bowl. Of course NOW is having a fit about it and trying to get it removed because it is 'offensive'.
I don't know about you, but I am offended by all the half clad women in the beer commercials, yet they run all the time!!!
But when a family wants to explain how they were told their pregnancy could be dangerous, but they choose LIFE and the result 20 years later is one of the best college quarterbacks we have ever seen, some people find that offensive!! I find it amazing!!
Add to that that this man pastes Bible verses to his face every game he plays. Which by the way are usually one of the top googled things the next day!!!
He also takes a very firm stand on purity!! Guess what NOW, if more men (and women) did this you would not have to worry about conception out of wedlock!! Seems to make sense to me!!
So I say
Way to go Tebow family!!!
Way to go Focus on the Family!!
Way to go CBS!!

YES!!! Totally love it!
That was a great article! I'm not a football fan, so I'd never heard of the guy before this week. Sounds like he's a wonderful, godly example both on and off the field!
What's funny is, I didn't plan on watching the Super Bowl, but when I heard about the ad I contemplated watching just to see the ad (until I realized I could youtube it). By being vocal, the critics are actually drawing attention to the ad... waaaaaay more people are going to pay attention to Tebow's ad because it's "controversial". Youtube viewings will soar!
So, thanks critics! We appreciate your help! :)
