Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

A Messy Day So Far

David started by blessing my morning with spilling his entire blackberry, banana smoothie down between the seats of his Pathfinder!! It definately has the texture of throw up and about as messy to try to clean out of the carpets. I still have the deep cleaning to go.

Hannah then decided that helping clean the car deserved a good pout. Thankfully one stern reminder of what pouting gets us fixed her face right up.

Then Caleb came downstairs ready to go to the doctors in black and blue striped sweats, a orange and gray dressier shirt, and a too small gray and red sweatshirt with stains all over it! For some reason he saw no problem with this and thought I was being mean asking him to change!

I then came across this verse today:
We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen: for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

God, may you direct my heart! Keep my eyes on the eternal!
