Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Polly Pocket Overload

For the adopted child that has spent years in deprivation, learning to play is work! Seriously! I have been discussing this with some other adoptive mom's recently and lots of us seem to be dealing with the same things. Hannah and Caleb both seem to struggle with imaginative play and playing with toys appropriately. I have sat with them and showed them how, but they seem to go back to bashing things together and repetitive play. I am sure if they had siblings closer in age that would help, but that is not our situation.
One of the only times I have seen Hannah really interact with toys is with large kitchen play sets and little Polly Pockets.
So what a blessing to have Brenna bless Hannah with this large batch of Polly Pockets with all their accessories!! You probably can't see in this picture, but there are actually beds, a TV, chairs and a hot tub in this house. And she is putting the dolls to bed. Then they drive their cars and go the the rides!! This mom's heart is so glad to see her little girl play!!
