Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Medford Relays

We spent the afternoon down at the track for our annual relay meet!
Every event is run as a relay!

One of the premier events of the day is the distance medley!

There were 4 state champions participating in some part of the race!!

It is run as a 1200m, 400m, 800m and ends with the mile!!

Here Drew is in the anchor mile. He was handed the baton in the lead and they won with about a 100m.

They ran a 12 second meet record!!

Drew's split for the day was 4:27 for the mile!

My guess is the reporter was asking how it felt---Looks like he had to think about it!! LOL Then Drew ran the second leg of the 4x400 relay! He was handed the baton in 6th place. Here he is, tied for third getting ready to hand off!!!

His future teammate at WSU, Wilder, is running right beside him!!!

He ran a 52 second split!!

Brian and David, the proud dad's and photographers!!
