Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Pear Blossom 2010

This morning was our annual Pear Blossom Run here in the Rogue Valley!

Erinn participated in the 5K, which meant a 7am start time, hence the early morning faces and lighting!!
Yep, those are my crutches--docs new try at giving some relief to my swollen foot, along with cortisone injections!!

Erinn and her friend, Devon, at the 5K turn around!!
Lookin good!

Hannah decided to help them out a bit!

She told us she didn't want to run today because running makes her feet move too fast!!!

David getting ready to escort Caleb on his one mile race!!!
Which he ran in 7:30! All of these races are to raise funds for scholarships for local athletes!!
Drew was one of the six athletes honored this year with funds towards his college!
Josh beside him is also a 2 time state xc champ at the 5A level, the other guy (who was not here), Cole is the 3A state xc champ. We have a very fast Southern Oregon this year!!

And, NO, David could not sit out this year!!
Though he has been out for 3 weeks with an arthritis flare, he was back in the race today!!!
Running 1:08.30 for 10 miles!!!
Congratulations David!!!

Congrats to the whole family! You guys are amazing. I'm trying to get some motivation just from looking at you ... to get outside and at least walk a few miles. :)

Drew ... Congrats on the scholarships. Excited for you to be a COUG.

Great job, Caleb. You and Elijah need to run together. He ran a 7:20 when he was 6.

Hannah ... I agree with you, running makes my feet go too fast.

Donna ... crutches will NOT go too well with your mother-of-the-bride dresses, so I hope your doc gets something figured out soon!

Love you all! Think it's about time to take another road trip to Southern Oregon.

And here I thought Erinn was the only one who didn't run...I thought she did water polo instead. :)
