Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Passport Follow-up

Remember me talking about getting the passports for the kids?! Well the process is still going and my fears of the missing resident card is surfacing.

We got a nice note yesterday from the passport office saying they needed proof that the kids were legally in the United States!! So tell me if I was illegally smuggling kids around, would I be trying to get them legal passports?

Anyways, off went their Liberian passports to see it that will clear up the confusion with their visa stamp. If not, we will forfeit our fees and have to apply for citizenship papers after-all. It is all so interesting because they are citizens and their re-adoption in the US proves that, but they want that extra elusive and expensive paper to prove it.

Praying for a quick conclusion to this matter and favor on our side!!

Sorry to hear of your struggles. We haven't had the best year with Immigration either. Our kids ARE citizens ... we just don't know which expensive way is best to prove their citizenship.
