Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Quiet Day!

How do I spend a quiet day?
-Start with sleeping in and pancakes with strawberries.
-Off to church for wonderful worship and teaching.
-Run off all the boys in the family to climb a mountain-literally!! (pictures to follow)
-Take out 34 braid and beads, wash, condition and comb.
-Put in 84 micro twists in Hannah's hair! (pictures to follow-the guys have the camera)
-Make a big pot of chili for the hungry guys when they get home-with Hannah's help.
-Spend a quiet 2 hours playing with my youngest while the boys are away.
-Not think of all the work those boys coming home will make for me!!!

Looking forward to Erinn home in 2 days from Texas--bet she is not looking forward to coming home though!!

Also will get to met my first online blogging friend and part of her family tomorrow. God is good to bring new friends into our lives, however they may find us!

Can't wait to meet you all tomorrow night.

Just found out that Ben (16) will be coming, too. (How's that for planning a trip with 5 kids, and adding 2 extra at the last minute?)

Look forward to seeing Hannah's micro braids. Cool!

blessings,

Laurel :)
