Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

French Doors!?!

Our sliding glass door was finished! It was just about impossible to open or close anymore and we were just plain tired of fixing it-so we decided to put in new French doors! Like them?

Well when my dad showed up to help this weekend, David was still finishing the painting on the front of the house, so Dad went straight to take out the old door. Door gone!!

Then the two of them went to get the new door, which we had not purchased earlier because we knew you could pick them up in the home improvement stores and Dad had a truck to pick it up. Well the short of the long story is--there is a large rebate on the expensive eco-friendly doors that makes them the same price as the stock doors--BUT you have to order them and it takes 14 working days to get them!!!!

Hence our beautiful plywood door!! But they did set it up to 'slide' so we can get in and out, mostly to get the dog out to go to the bathroom!! It also keeps the raccoons out!!
