Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Happy 42nd Birthday David!!

Happy one day late birthday to my wonderful husband!!!
This is my favorite picture of him as a child!
A big city kid with a pet chicken!! The chicken had probably fallen off a poultry truck on the way to his demise, and was found by this little boy who wanted a pet! And here we are yesterday! Proud birthday boy with his new shirt and cake!
For his birthday he ran the Ashland Hill Climb! It is he highest elevation gain race, besides Pike's Peak Race in Colorado! A 13.2 mile race that gains 1 vertical mile in elevation!!!
He is a bit sore today! LOL! Drew also ran yesterday! Drew placed 18th overall and David was 24th overall. Congratulations to both runners! What a way to spend your birthday--paying someone good money for the opportunity to cause yourself extreme pain for 2 1/2 hours!! I must be missing something if they call this FUN!!!
