Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

20 Miler!!!

Just got home from my 20 mile training walk/run for the marathon!!! Ouch!! Yesterday I was not feeling real up to par, so I did not eat much all afternoon and skipped dinner all together. Then I got the call about the walk and did not think about what skipping a meal would do to my early morning walk. Was doing well till about 15 miles then it just became pain in the back, pain in the gut, pain in the feet....guess you get the idea!! Anyways all done for today after 4 hours and 16 minutes!! Yeah!!

I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Wish I lived close so that I would have a training partner. I would love to have someone to walk with (maybe not 20 miles ... ).
