Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

The Christmas Tree

So here is what Hannah thinks about Christmas tree decorating!!! Show a little more emotion Hannah!

In days of old this was an all night project with popcorn, hot chocolate and movies. Now a days with college finals, track practice and work; we were just thankful to have us all in the same room at the same time. No matter, the memories were made anyways! And we did get at least the hot chocolate!

Here is Caleb and Hannah enjoying the evening. It is amazing to think three years ago they had never had a Christmas tree. More importantly they had never heard the story of the birth of their Lord and Saviour! Pray that they will both come to know his saving grace and grow in the knowledge of His love.

This picture shows us Erinn, Caleb and Hannah getting those ornaments up on the tree. You might notice Hannah's precarious perch on the stool. Just moment after this she totally lost her balance and grabbed hold of the tree trunk to regain it!! I do not have to explain the swaying and tipping of the tree at that point. Hannah was directed not to use the stool after that.

Here we have Drew and Hannah playing "jungle gym" in the front room. I do not have any idea what this has to do with decorating the tree?!? But it is a cute picture and is typical of Hannah trying to get some attention from her big brother, whom she adores.

And last, but not least we have the big crew of the evening. Drew scratching his head as though he is trying to decide what is going on and Erinn looking sweet and inocent.

What a fun evening! Good memories with each unique ortament removed from boxes! Most of all lots of love and bonding time!!!
