Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Cross Country Awards

Last night Drew had is cross country awards banquet. Here is the whole team gathered for one last group hug!

Congratulations North Medford Black Tornado Cross Country 2008!!!

Here we have Drew and Head Coach Voskes! Thanks for all your hard work coach and putting up with Drew's antics!! Also for your confidence in him as a leader and a runner.

Here is Drew and Coach Voskes Sr. Coach nicknamed Drew "Huckleberry", I think because of the trouble he thinks up! Like showing up to practice in a leg brace!!
Coach Palmer was Drew's track buddy. Kept him pushing hard on the hard work out days. Thanks for really getting out there and pushing Drew to the limit!

Drew was named Southwest Conference Runner of the Year, Dairyman Assoc. Academic Athlete, one of Qwest's Athlete of the State Meet, and State Champion!!

I pray for you son, that all you have learned from your love of running will translate into you faith, that YOU will RUN the RACE that GOD has set before YOU!!

Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
