Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

A New Birth!!

John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Last night Caleb gave his heart and life to the Lord!! What an exciting time in our household. This child we prayed for is now our brother in the Lord!! We had seen hints that his heart was being moved in this way, but last night as we watched "Indescribable" by Louie Giglio he started crying and when I asked him why, he said "It made him sad that people don't want to love and obey Jesus." After the movie David took him upstairs and had the privilege to lead his son to the Lord.
I can not write this without crying, as we have prayed so much over this child. When Caleb came home from Liberia 3 years ago he had the same dream about demons every night. He would wake up screaming, sweating and crying. Once David and I realized the battle being fought we prayed over him for deliverance and the Lord relived Caleb of this burden. But he still showed little desire to follow the Lord, though he was learning much about Him. Watching the Lord draw him in the last few weeks has been such a faith booster for me especially.
Now we have the privilege of training and growing this young man into the faith warrior for the Lord! Praise God for His unending mercies!!
