Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Egg Nog Run!!

The 1st annual Egg Nog Run!!

I will endeavor to describe the run my son organized today!!

I do know more graphic picture are floating around out there and may at some point show up here, just a warning for those of you with queasy stomachs!!

Today's run entailed drinking 2 cups of egg nog
then racing a lap and drinking another cup of egg
nog, then another lap and so on till a mile was run and 5 cups of egg nog were consumed. Drew was dubbed the winner when he was the first to complete the mile (6:15) and not loose the contents of his stomach!?!

I must say that an hour or so later, I believe he wished he had gotten sick. I am not sure I will ever understand boys!!!
