Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Snow Day

We were blessed with about 2 inches of snow this
morning. Hannah and Caleb made a bee line for the jackets and gloves. Drew headed out to get salt on the paths at the retirement center where he works. And Erinn and David slipped their way to their offices. The little ones and I enjoyed a warm house and hot chocolate.
I have had people watch my older kids help out in the kitchen and say they can't wait till their kids are older so they can help out too. Well if you wait till they are older they may not be much of a help. Here is Hannah helping me make turkey pot pies. She loves working in the kitchen and the praise Dad gives her for a good meal.
When this picture is bigger you can see her new teeth, which have come in before the others came out. We have to keep reminding her to "wiggle" them.
