Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Thankfulness

It all is a matter of how you look at things!!
~Drew had an MRI on his hip which took 2 hours (but we are thankful for the technology that allows us to see what is wrong inside of us).
~Caleb saw the doctor, only to be told that there is not much to be done about the opened up wound, and he will just have a bigger scar now (but we are very thankful for good medical care).
~I woke up very sore and tired from having fallen down 7 stairs last night and landing on my backside, I now have a wonderfully large bruise (but thankful God made our bodies to heal themselves)!
~Hannah has the doctors stumped as to what is causing her symptoms (but so very thankful for the vibrant health she has)!
~Erinn finished her first final, and is exhausted with all the papers and studying (but thankful for a sound mind and the opportunity of a good education).
~David is working today and tomorrow after planning vacation days this week (but thankful for a good job and the ability to provide for the family)!
Ephesians 5:20 "giving THANKS ALWAYS for ALL THINGS to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ"
