Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

This and That

Yesterday entailed a long unproductive trip to try to fix Grandma Mae's glasses. Now we have an appointment to see the eye doctor again. It would have been nice to have them for her for playing cards at Christmas. Then I got to enjoy an afternoon shopping with Erinn and Hannah. Then David and I and the little ones went with the grandparents to a Christmas program to enjoy the singing and fellowship.
Today I had the wonderful blessing of over an hour at the gym, which gave me enough time to soak in the spa. What a treat! We are praying David's leg will soon start feeling better, so he can enjoy his running again. These flare ups with his arthritis seem to be more frequent. We are so thankful for the medicine that give him so much mobility. After the gym my sweet husband took me out to get fresh muffins and scones! While we were gone Erinn took out Hannah's braids and washed her hair for me. So I had time to grade school work and get Hannah's braids done. We did have a rough time of braiding today, hoping they stay in for a while to give us both a break for a couple of weeks. David blessed me by doing some errands and Drew got caught up on some papers. Then Danielle called and said she found a new, used car. She was so thankful for all the help of others in helping her find a good deal. It will make a mom's heart feel better to know she is driving something that has not been in too many accidents (at least not yet) HA HA Danielle.
Off to warm up those left overs and take a quiet evening!
