Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Erinn and Mike

As you can guess Erinn had a wonderful visit with Mike last week!
He had just had surgery on his eyes, so was allowed a leave, as he could not do much anyways while recovering. Here they are dressed in tie-dye because all the guys on base in Texas tease him about being a hippie/tree hugger from Oregon.
So they found the biggest trees they could and took pictures hugging trees in tie-dye.
You have to love the Redwoods, they are so majestic!!

They also spent some time on the coast, where they caught this great picture.

The camera is on a timer on the roof of the car here.
It was a cold day on the coast, but I do not think it deterred them from having a good time.

Hannah and Caleb loved having someone to play with too. Must say I think Mike liked getting down on the floor and having an excuse to play with Lego's again!
We want to thank Mike and all the men serving in our armed forces to keep our nation free!!
Mike has been transferred to a new job. Not one he asked for, nor one he was real excited about, but that is how the army works. I am sure he would love your prayers as he settles into a new routine.

Oh how well we know that the Army does what THEY want ... not what the individual soldier might want. Praying for Mike!

LOVE the "tree-hugger / hippie" shirts and pics. Too funny!

Love the colors in the tie-dye pic, but wow--his tie-dye really does NOT match his plaid shorts! :) Ha! Where are the tree-hugger pix??? Does he have a new address w/ his new job?
