Done with Week One

Yes, we officially are done with week one of school!!! I may have just figured out some things that actually work for Caleb. I will go into more detail later, but suffice it to say it includes a big white board sitting in the middle of my dining room!!!

Hannah is doing well too, though we may have to make some changes with her also. She is very attached to her speech therapist, which may be causing a problem. I have been watching and trying to keep a handle on things, but I may pull her from therapy for a while or go to once a month. It is hard to compete as a teacher when you also have to be the mom.

Drew will actually start next week, but he did get a little done this week. With his video curriculum he is on a set schedule to have things done, so getting a little ahead will help when all those away x-c meets come and the college visits (he has one planned to Boise at this point). He is off today enjoying the last of his freedom!!!

Erinn does not start till later in the month.

And we have another student this year!!!!! David will be starting his master's program this fall!! Guess he did not think he had enough on his plate! This is something he has been wanting to do for a while. Interestingly he will only miss one x-c meet it looks like. Not sure what he will do for winter term when there is long traveling for some of the national meets. Then he thought he would take extra in the spring, till I reminded him that his daughter would be getting married during 'dead' week and I would not appreciate him being that busy at that time!!!

So that just leaves me out of the learning game. Guess you would have to say that I never really leave the learning game, especially with my two new ones!
